Even the Construction Industry is getting Online!!
Have you noticed over the last few years how every company feels that a website is an invaluable tool to self promotion, and is often the first port of call for start up business’s - “well lets sort the website out and move from thier”.
Well it seems now even the construction industry - known for its local print advertising and not particularly associated with I.T knowledge or web savy experts is joining the game - with phrases like ‘construction’,'building’ and ‘roofing’ all featuring million+ results in google for the UK. Examples like ‘Hayday Construction and Roofing’ (http://www.haydayconstruction.co.uk) and ‘Bob Macintyre’ (http://www.bobby.com) are clear proof that Construction is tooling up for the web. Online gallerys, contact forms, internal search engines and multi layered images feature heavily in Hayday constructions site who have done well and maintained very high google positioning for a construction firm.
All in all it would seem if you wanted to build a successful modern firm, offering professional services your website is still increasingly a representation of your ability to provide said services. After all is building a house that much different from building a website?
Kodak CX7300 Digital Camera
Quality digital cameras are becoming affordable for just about everyone these days. Kodak’s entry into the low cost end of the market is their CX7300 3.2 mega pixel model. You just may be surprised at what a terrific value it is. Please read on.
As recently as two years ago, if you were shopping for a 3.0 mega pixel or greater camera, you would have paid approximately $249. for one. Today, prices have tumbled and it isn’t uncommon to find cameras in this category going for $150 or less. Recents sale prices I have observed have brought this price down further with one retailer selling the Kodak CX7300 for just under $100.
As you may know a 3.0 meg camera is ideal if you are taking pictures to post online. Anything greater isn’t necessary, so there is no need to expend the extra bucks for a 5.0, 6.0, or even 7.0 meg camera.
This particular Kodak model is no bare bones model either. Top features include:
3.2 million pixels
3x digital zoom
1.6″ color display
Red eye reduction
Self timer
Color modes
Multiple scene modes
Movie mode
16 MB internal memory
Easy Share software
The CX7300 is easy to use and picture quality is very good. Kodak also markets this model camera as a C300, so shop around and see what your retailer is offering.

Bell & Howell 35J Camera Review
This is a fairly common older medium-size 35mm camera. It has three aperture settings and a standard tripod socket. We developed a roll of film from it and had good results on most photographs, including a few of very good quality. It is possible to connect an external flash unit to it, although we did not. This camera is easier to use, more compact, and lighter than many cameras with similar features. Another advantage is that no batteries are required because it doesn’t have motorized film advance or a built-in flash. The only drawback of any significance is that, as with other cameras of this type, there is no built-in lens cover. A round detachable lens cover of the right size can be used, but it is possible to lose these. Otherwise, this appears to be an affordable camera with very good performance and useful features.
