The New Wave of Poker Online
After the early days of the poker game, poker became a bit isolated from the world. Limited by law in many countries to high-rolling casinos, the poker game was out of reach for the average citizen. Therefore, beginners and novices who were interested in the game had a hard time to pursue their dream.
Why? Because they should be ready to shell out large amounts of cash money to be able to play. Moreover, the beginner should be ready to face the challenge of trying to stay expressionless even though his card has absolutely no sign of winning, or his opponent will have the opportunity to read his reaction and every movement.
Luckily, with the information era online poker came into the scene. Through the years, online poker has become so significant that the World Series of Poker accept entries from players of purely online poker background.
Today there are literally hundreds of online poker rooms to choose from. They each have their strengths and their weaknesses and most also their loyal players.
The new wave of online poker has made the game readily available to each and everyone who is interested.

Considerations in Buying from a Carpet and Rug dealer.
How should one choose a carpet and rug dealer? After your decision to buy a carpet or rug, the next consideration would be your budget. Of course, this would depend on how much of your floor you intend to cover. After those two basic considerations, the rest would be up to you: what material?
Oriental, Persian, antique, new, original or copy? For display and enjoyment, or just to cover the floor? Which part of your home or building will you use the carpet on?
One big consideration in choosing a carpet and rug dealer is whether the carpets produced are hand-made or machine-made. There’s a certain aura or mystique behind hand-made carpets and rugs, but it does not necessarily mean that factory-made carpets are inferior. Hand-made carpets are said to be
more durable and appreciate in value over time. These are also more expensive, and one must search for a trusted dealer. Factory-made carpets are made with the purpose of covering the entire flooring of one’s home or building.
While having such a “general purpose,” they still provide you with a lot of options in color, patterns or styles, and textures, allowing you to match your carpet choice with the rest of the building. Such “flexibility” of choices is not available for most hand-made carpets or rugs; but you can find it with a carpet and rug dealer.
Additional service that you may look out for in your carpet and rug dealer would be maintenance of the carpet that you buy. At the very least, your dealer should tell you about the proper care of your carpet. Different materials may require different maintenance procedures. For factory-made carpets, the carpet and rug dealer may even offer maintenance services for the carpets.

First it’s helpful to revisit, check or define the foundations of your business or organisation. Your Playful Imagination - What a Jewel
New life and adventure are as close to you as your imagination. It’s pure magic.
Why? Because your imagination is the gatekeeper to your spirit of play.
Remember, way back to those magic words, “Let’s pretend?” They triggered play
instantly. Without effort, you transformed whatever was at hand into a new and
exciting experience. It carried you into a world where there was nothing you could
not do.
As ethnologist Sally Carrighar observed : “It [play] furnishes its own energy.” Play is
a renewing experience, not a draining one. What a welcome companion to carry into
the minutia of one’s “daily grind.”
In today’s society we are nearly overwhelmed by conditions that inhibit natural,
imaginative playfulness. We are governed by goals, objectives, deadlines and
quotas. Some are imposed on us and some we impose ourselves.
We are poorer because of it. It’s no wonder that so many people passionately look
forward to retirement. At one time I worked in a state governmental agency. What
was said then may still be true: Every state worker knew the exact date of his or her
retirement.
Why not turn the imagination loose in our work and other daily responsibilities,
making the exciting energy of play an actual part of ourselves?
Your playful imagination can do wonders for both your morale and your
effectiveness. Here are two examples from my own experience:
Early in World War II while I was waiting to be called into active military duty, I
worked on a farm. When I finished milking the cows I had to run the hand-operated
cream separator. If you’re old enough you will remember them.
After pouring the fresh milk into the large funnel on top of the separator, I was no
longer in the milk house. I transported myself to the deck of a U. S. Navy aircraft
carrier. When I grabbed the handle on the side of the separator and started my huff-
and-puff cranking, I was no longer rotating the disks inside the separator to get
them up to needed centrifugal force for separating the cream from the milk. I was
winding the engine of a navy fighter plane just as I saw them do in movies and
newsreels. I was readying the plane for take off to engage the enemy.
Twice a day - early morning and late evening - I turned the handle faster and faster
and faster right up to take off time: That is, that moment when the cream was
separated. Charles Schulz’s Snoopy had his Red Baron, and I had my enemy
somewhere over the Pacific Ocean.
Not only did my playful imagination turn the chore - and it was a chore - into an
adventure, but to the farmer’s delight, my dedication to naval duty paid off for him.
The butterfat count went up considerably, and he got more money for his cream.
Here’s the point. This was pure play on my part. However, if increasing the butterfat
count had been the objective of my activity, it would no longer have been play. Play
delights in the activity itself. The joy and satisfaction do not depend on some
preconceived result or goal.
The other example was in my work as a hospital chaplain. It came about as I began
taking a professional interest in the experiences of play. I had already identified
within myself one of the satisfying values that came from my childhood play -
adventure. So I asked myself, “How would that Kansas kid make an adventure out of
this work?”
Within seconds the answer came. He would imagine himself as an undercover agent
in a prison where the people (patients) were confined against their will. His job was
to secretly plot with them to find ways to escape. Of course, this had to be hush-
hush and shared with no one. In reality this was not difficult because nothing in this
imaginative setting inhibited me from doing the actual work I was to do.
To my delight I discovered that over time this new sense of place increased my
creativity both within the hospital and in the community.
So it can be for you. The examination of your childhood play will reveal specific
values that you gained or realized in your private play. With these identified, your
imagination can show how to pursue them in your here and now.
Doing this does not mean one’s whole time will be spent in a playful nature. There
were many times when the situations of my work were far from playful and were not
experienced as such. But from time to time I could mentally move into my playful
image and receive the energy and savor the detachment that play brings.
(c) Cy Eberhart 2006

As a hospital chaplain Cy Eberhart, (now retired) was a firsthand witness to the
entire spectrum of human emotions: personal successes and failures; the deepest
despairs and the great peaks of joy. Two questions remained foremost in his mind:
How was it that some could find inner strengths that brought courage and hope and
others could not? What was to be learned from these experiences that would have a
positive and creative effect for daily, routine living?
His lectures, writings, workshops, book In the Presence of Humor and his living-history
performances of America’s famed humorist
Will Rogers offers some of the
answers.
Bad Dog Behavior
Can This Dog Be Saved? A Perspective On Bad Dog Behavior
You love your dog and you feel committed to keeping him in your life, but sometimes you wonder how much more you stand. You feel as if you’ve tried everything and your at your wit’s end.
If this describes your current relationship with your dog, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that there may still be hope to turn things around. The bad news is you may not be the one who can do it.
There really are no ‘bad dogs’. However, there are dogs who have been abused, dogs with physical illnesses and ‘psychiatric’ problems, mistrained dogs and dogs that simply aren’t a match for their current owners. Knowing which kind of dog you have on your hands is crucial for determining your next course of action.
First, ask yourself if there’s any chance you might be part of the problem. Did you educate yourself on dog training methods? Did you take your dog to professionally run training classes? Are you one-hundred-percent sure you know how to handle your dog’s breed and temperament?
If not, then there’s a good chance the relationship can be saved by doing your part to understand your dog’s needs.

The Role of Fiber in a Diabetic Diet
The role of fiber in healthy diets is very important. It supports digestion and keeps your colon and other organs healthy and functioning properly. It is also a magic substance that should be a large part of any diabetic diet plan. You will reap many benefits fromincluding fiber in your diet. If you are pre-diabetic it can assist in delaying the diagnosis of diabetes or if you are already diabetic it can help keep your blood glucose under control.
Fiber will keep you feeling fuller longer – it slows the conversion of carbohydrates in your body which in turn can keep your blood sugars stable. a diabetic must eat soluble fiber to get such benefit. These are some of the sources of soluble fiber:
* whole grain or whole wheat products instead of white (flour, breads, and cereals)
* fresh fruit and vegetables instead of processed or drinking them in liquid form
* Beans, use dried beans in your favorite recipes like chili for a wholesome, high-fiber meal
To ensure that you are getting the most benefit from eating increased amount of fiber, make sure that you are drinking at least eight glasses of water a day. Keep it in mind that this fiber dissolves in water and you need to stay hydrated for it to work properly.
If you are on a carbohydrate counting diet and are consuming 15 grams of carbohydrates for one serving you can raise the amount you are eating if that item has high-fiber content. You can subtract the number of grams of fiber in a serving from the number of carbohydrates. For instance if you are consuming an item that has 20 grams of carbohydrates over one serving limit, but it has five grams of fiber you can subtract the five from the twenty and it is now only a 15 gram serving.

Day Trading Basics
Day Trading is a continuous activity worked up over several years to achieve targeted results, unless you are following a proven day trading system. There is a general consensus among market operators that volatility is favorable for a day-trader. As a rule of thumb, yous should not expose more than 3% of your funds on a single trade,if you want to taste success.
Some investors can become addicted to day trading. If you want to day trade, you will have to be in front of your computer watching stock movements. Top day traders have a proven day trading system.
Day traders fix a target - 4 to 5% movement in targeted scrips before buying or selling. A day trader will rarely hold a stock overnight as there are many other opportunities and a stock that takes hours to move is not worth trading. Successful day trading requires proper profit targets adjusted for few hours of trading time that is available each day.
Day trading as a career has its advantages as well. When day trading, set yourself a limit on how much you are prepared to lose on any particular trade.
There are no miracle solutions for wealth building in day trading. By definition, day-trading means you exit at the end of the day, so your profits must at least cover commissions and slippage. Does day-trading offer advantages above and beyond position trading?
Day traders must watch the market continuously during the day at their computer terminals. Day trading is an investment tactic that does online daily stock trading with a relatively short investment.
Investors and traders around the world are looking to the Forex market as a new speculation opportunity. Day trading demands access to some of the most complex financial services and instruments in the marketplace.
Efficient day traders generally liquidate holdings into good news and accumulate stocks on bad news. A core feature of a trading system is Money Management. Generally, a day trader should have enough day trading capital to buy at least 1000 shares of any given stock on any particular day.
Individuals should not attempt to day trade unless you have a proper understanding of market fundamentals.

Cancer & Caregivers
Cancer & Caregivers; Part of a series of Positive Attitudes for Cancer.
Battling Cancer is an individual journey that takes all of heaven and earth to combat.
Choose your caregivers well:
Your Caregiver walks a fine line between reality, support cheerleader, hand holder, master “hugger” and “inspiration machine”, and friend, who must give that medicine, drives you to treatment, and fusses at you to keep you on track for your healing journey.
Your Cancer caregiver is your primary filter and monitor of your visitors, both family and friends. They should only allow POSITIVE PEOPLE!!! and ONLY people who are emotionally nourishing for you.
YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!
They should encourage you to be surrounded by individuals who treat as if you are living and expect you to have a future. No “what if’ers,’ no “maybe that won’t work”, or “oh you poor dear”, or any others who say negative things.
If ANYONE ever says to you “before you were living with cancer, now you’re dying with cancer.”
Remove them from your life until they can be respectful and empathetic! Not only are they unable to determine your death, they are also unkind to make a remark like this.
If they say to you, “I was just making a realistic statement so you won’t be in denial and we can address your will, funeral plans, and future provisions.” FORGET THAT justification!!!!! NO ONE who truly cares about your heart and soul, would ever say anything like that.
Do not be so needy for attention, that you allow yourself to be the “victim” of comments that are TOTALLY inappropriate!! no matter how sick you are. As long as there is breath in your body, you have the right to be treated with respect and dignity, and as if you are going to live!!!
Family members as Caregivers:
If you have spent your life helping others, and enabling them, it’s time to stop that energy drain. This does NOT mean that you do not love them anymore. It means that you care enough about yourself to take care of you FIRST, so that you can be around in the future to help them.
Non-healing: 1. “But he’s my brother and he just drinks a little too much, and he wants to come visit”….. His energy will drain you!!! Visit with him when you are healed!
2. At this time, YOU do NOT need to hear their problems. They need to support you!
Friends as Caregivers:
There are several kinds of friends during this time in your life.
The talkers:
They call to see how you are, listen for a short period of time and then spend hours telling you about their life. They ask if they can do anything for you. When you mention that you need a ride to chemo on Thursdays, their answer is, “I’d love to take you, but I have book club.” Do not be discouraged. This person is interested enough to call, but NOT authentic about truly helping you or they would have taken you to chemo…….. There will be more book clubs, this is your battle with a disease! Thank them for calling, and get off the phone.
You are not THAT needy to have to talk with someone who won’t really be there for you!
The Doers:
These are the friends that pick you up, sit through, and bring you home after chemo, and probably add fresh flowers to your home. Be thankful. They encourage you to live with every dinner invitation, movie, or “let’s go to” invitation. GO! Do not feel like you are “putting them out”, “being a bother”, or whatever. When you are well, YOU can DO for them!!!!! They are your Earth Angels.
Being the Caregiver for someone battling cancer, and going through cancer treatment is a job that requires everything you can muster to handle your work and all of your coping skills.
Advice for the Cancer Caregiver:
1. Treat your Cancer client as if they are going to live. DO NOT treat them as if it’s just a matter of time. Always speak of their “experience” NEVER a disease.
2. You will most likely be caught up in the overwhelming environment of caregiving, and handling every life and medical detail and decision.
Try to look at the patient and all of their circumstances as if they are in a healing situation, and in a positive manner. Don’t be a Pollyanna, but try to put a positive spin on everything that you can.
3. Although your patient has “determination to live”, that determination needs to be rooted in positive. Positive energy raises their body’s physical energy frequency which fights their disease.
4. Creating a positive uplifting environment:
a. Dress in happy colors.
b. Help create a environmentally pleasant and visually happy care area. Little touches mean a lot!
c. Only allow positive people around your patient. EXPLAIN why the negative folks need to stay away, and help keep them away.
d. Be very conscious of how YOUR energy can effect the “patient.”
If you view the patient in a “sick” condition, you are sending negative energy their way!
If you have a negative attitude, or irritable responses, you generate negative energy which lowers your patient’s physical body frequency and DOES NOT help heal the disease. Your energy field will affect your patient.
e. Keep your energy field clean. Your patient is like a sponge and absorbs and interacts with all the energy surrounding them and that they are exposed to.
5. Contributing Life force energy thru Love:
On numerous occasions, family and friends have asked how they can contribute positive energy to the “patient.” [An educational note: The hand that you write with is your energy sending hand. The other hand is your energy input receiving hand.] So follow the directions below according to whether you are right or left handed.
Take your left receiving hand and place it on your heart, and take your right sending hand to hold the patient’s left hand (receiving hand). Then say to the patient, “I send you the love from my Heart and it’s healing life force energy to use as you so choose.”
You then become an “energizer” bunny for the patient thru your love for them.
You are invited to download our free pamphlet with excerpts from this book. We hope this will help you with your healing journey.

4 Steps Closer to Freedom - Your Juggling Act
If I were to ask you what you are currently juggling, you would probably throw your hands up in the air and perhaps break out in a cold sweat. The question alone often raises stress levels. So let’s take a look at how facing that gruesome question can actually be the first step toward reducing that stress!
1. What are you juggling? Take a moment to jot down a list of some general areas you’re currently juggling, leaving 5 or 6 lines blank under each one. Now begin to add specific tasks in each category. While nothing has changed, you will begin to feel more in control, just by putting your “files” in order.
2. What’s expected who’s holding the gun? We are not always able to assign our own responsibilities, and it can be very difficult to differentiate between self-appointed tasks and those expected by others. Awareness in this area is critical to moving toward informed choices.
Take a careful look at your juggling list and determine who is controlling each assignment. Have you imposed it upon yourself as necessary, or is there really someone holding a gun to your head?
I am reminded of an elderly friend who regularly missed out on gatherings of her “gal pals” because she had to scrub her kitchen. When I questioned her need to wash both floor and ceiling weekly, she would only say she’d always done it. She continued protesting until finally she admitted she didn’t remember why. How many of us are likewise prisoners of our own tyranny?
3. Is it really necessary? To complete our examination, we need to be able to distinguish the necessity and the desirability of completing each task. We need to become accustomed to assessing new items as they arise and assigning each a designation. Take a few minutes to add a designation to each task on your list, determining and then marking each as (N)ecessary, (D)esirable, (H)abitual, or (R)ecreational.
You will probably find the majority of tasks designated as necessary on your first pass. If so, look again, and be honest with yourself. It’s difficult to think that we may be struggling to handle tasks that aren’t necessary at all. We tend to validate our choices by convincing ourselves the things we do with our schedules are vitally necessary. But be candid - there is no right or wrong. We’re simply increasing our awareness of how we spend or waste our time, and the reasons behind the choices.
Let’s look at my elderly friend again. Once she identified the tyrant in her life, she was free to determine the necessity of her stringent cleaning schedule and thereafter, she was rarely at home, having released herself from her own expectation.
4. What’s the vision? The most important element in perfecting your juggling act is vision and accountability to it. If you can’t picture it, how will you know if and when you attain it? This first step is deceptively simple, but without it, the rest of the process quickly collapses. No expectation is realistic without a clear and personal definition of success and failure.
The dictionary describes failure as, a state of inability to perform a normal function; a fracturing or giving way under stress; a falling short; deterioration, decay. But it’s even easier than that! Failure is simply an attempt that did not meet all the specified qualifications. It is not only a step closer to realization of the vision, but often presents a new and better vision. Many of the wildly successful inventions emerged from what didn’t work along the road to some long forgotten vision. Chocolate chip cookies, Coca Cola, Post-it Notes, Scotchgard, X-rays, and even the worldwide web are notable examples.
Take a few moments and define what failure at your juggling act would look like, outward appearances - a personal portrait of someone who has not achieved it. Perhaps this reveals a snapshot of your life as you currently perceive it. For maximum revelation, don’t consider your answer too carefully. Then, what does failure at the juggling act feel like, the invisible elements, sleeplessness, nervousness, irritability, etc.
Webster defines success as, favorable or desired outcome, accomplishment, achievement, attainment, triumph, or victory. But success is also very personal, and must be defined personally, and specific to the circumstances.
Take a few minutes to define the elements of success for your juggling act. How would you appear to those around you if you were juggling successfully? Paint a very clear picture of a person who has achieved it. Then ask yourself how it feels to be successfully maintaining your rhythm, the invisible elements, serenity, sleep, inner confidence. It’s important to capture your genuine feelings, so don’t work it out mentally.
Whatever our definition of success and failure, we are all too ready to embrace anything less than perfection and call it quits. That attitude rarely succeeds at anything. If we are to recognize success when it arrives, we must change our perceptions of failure. Experience, which always includes failures of one sort or another, plus an attitude of perseverance, will eventually lead to solid, lasting success.
If you will give attention to each of these questions and be candid in your answers, you will be well positioned to move forward, making the kind of decisions about your time and talents that will free you to have a greater impact on your surroundings. Soon you will be ready to take your juggling act on the road!
